High Voltage Electrician - USA

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be hands-on, working across a variety of mine sites and equipment, including:
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair high-voltage systems on heavy mobile equipment
- Troubleshoot and respond to electrical breakdowns in the field and in-pit
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on OEM equipment (surface & underground)Service and repair electric haul trucks and support equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair transformers, switchgear, motors, and HV cabling
- Conduct 24V and HV diagnostics, testing, and component replacement
- Use testing tools like multimeters, insulation testers, and earth testers
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits
- Work across major OEMs including Sandvik, CAT, Epiroc, Hitachi, Komatsu
- Support operations by reducing downtime and keeping machines moving
- Apply strong electrical safety standards (LOTO, arc flash, PPE)
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of high-voltage experience on mining equipment (UG or surface)
- Strong experience with Sandvik equipment (jumbos, bolters, trucks highly preferred)
- Ability to work FIFO across the U.S. on a 2/1, 2/2, or 7/7 rotation
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in high-pressure environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment requirements
- Experience with automation systems or autonomous mining equipment preferred
- Exposure to large-scale mining projects or commissioning work preferred
- MSHA Electrical Certification preferred
