Who will you be working with?
You'll be joining an established Home Claims function within a large and growing general insurance business. The team operates in a fast-paced environment where customer outcomes, technical quality and commercial performance are equally important.
Reporting to the Home Claims Manager, you'll lead a team of eight Claims Consultants and work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the team operates, contribute to broader claims initiatives and play an important role in improving performance across the function.

Key Responsibilities:
- What will you be doing?• Lead, coach and develop a team of Home Claims Consultants
- Drive team performance, service standards and process adherence
- Monitor claims portfolios, including workload allocation and claim authorisation
- Provide technical, product, process, system and compliance guidance
- Identify opportunities to improve claims performance, processes and customer outcomes
- Contribute to recruitment, workforce planning and broader operational initiatives
What do you need?
- Previous Team Leader or equivalent leadership experience
- Strong experience within Home Claims or a closely related claims environment
- A genuine passion for coaching, developing and motivating people
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- A customer-focused approach with sound commercial judgement
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
