About the role:
Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking motivated individuals to join us in the position of Food Service Assistant at Flinders Medical Centre (Bedford) on a Casual or Part Time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Available to work across a 5-day roster, covering both morning and afternoon shifts (no weekend shifts required at this time)
- Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
- Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
- Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
- Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

About you:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, afternoons and late shifts.
- Food Safety Certificate is required for this role.
- Ability to undergo a functional pre-employment medical
- Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
- DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is essential
- Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is essential
