About the Role

As a Hospitality Employee at IRT Sarah Claydon, you will contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and their families. You will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality services, ensuring meals are served with care, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.

We have 2 x Permanent Part-Time positions available:

Hospitality Employee:

• Week 1: Sat 12pm–7:30pm & Sun 11:30am–6:30pm
• Week 2: Sat 12pm–7:30pm & Sun 6:30am–2:30pm

Laundry Services:

• Week 1: Thu & Fri, 7am–3:30pm
• Week 2: Fri, 7am–3:30pm

Your work may include:
•    Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
•    Delivering and serving meals to our residents
•    General laundry duties, including personal laundry
•    Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
•    Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
•    Helping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas 

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Experience delivering hospitality services 
  •  A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
  •  Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
  • Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
  • Availability to work a range of shift
