HV Mechanic | Darwin | NT

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's growing maintenance team in Darwin, NT .

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established transport company with a modern fleet and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality workmanship. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring heavy vehicles remain roadworthy and operational, supporting critical transport operations across the region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and transport equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure fleet availability and reliability.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Australian-recognised Trade Qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers, and heavy transport equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence, with an HR Licence highly regarded .
• Ability to pass a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical assessment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment.

What's On Offer:

• Flat rate of $70 per hour.
• Mon to Fri | 7.00am to 3.00pm
