Your new role
Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, an opportunity exists for an experienced HVAC Estimator to join their Sydney team.
Working closely with senior management, project delivery teams and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
Preparing accurate and competitive HVAC tenders and cost estimates
Reviewing project drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor pricing
Conducting take-offs and preparing detailed cost breakdowns
Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
Supporting project teams during tender clarification and project handover phases
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as an HVAC Estimator within the mechanical services industry
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and installation methodologies
Experience pricing commercial, industrial, healthcare or data centre projects
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
The ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
