THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you a technology professional who enjoys solving problems and delivering exceptional customer support? PYBAR Mining Services is seeking an experienced ICT Service Engineer to join our growing ICT team based in Orange, NSW. In this role, you will provide support across our corporate offices and mining operations, ensuring the reliable delivery of ICT services that keep our people connected, productive, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incidents and support requests logged by employees, ensuring timely, professional resolution and clear communication throughout
  • Set up and deploy new computers and mobility devices for staff, including initial configuration and user handover
  • Administer user accounts and access to Thiess Group systems
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and tasks to support SLA compliance and knowledge sharing
  • Diagnose and resolve day-to-day hardware, software, and network issues
  • Produce and maintain process and support documentation
  • Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and end users

About You

You are an experienced ICT professional with a strong customer service focus and a passion for delivering reliable technology solutions. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology are desirable but not essential, with proven experience in a similar role equally valued.

You have experience supporting complex enterprise IT environments across remote and onsite locations and possess a sound working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills enable you to effectively prioritise tasks and deliver high-quality support.

A proactive and adaptable team player, you can work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the business. You take ownership of your work and are committed to providing dependable ICT support that helps keep PYBAR's operations connected and productive.
