INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIANS
- Seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a major government infrastructure project.
- Immediate start with approximately 58 hours of work per week for 4-6 weeks.
- Candidates must have a current QLD Electrical Licence and reside in Cairns.
Protech are currently seeking 2 x experienced Industrial Electricians to support our client on a major government infrastructure project in Cairns.
This is a great opportunity for experienced local Electricians to secure well-paid project work on one of the region’s significant infrastructure developments, with an immediate start available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Industrial electrical installation works
- $62.50/hr casual + applicable penalties
- 6 days per week
- Approximately 58 hours per week
- 4–6 weeks of work initially, with potential for further opportunities
- Immediate start
- Major government infrastructure project
- Cairns / Gordonvale area
- Local candidates required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out industrial electrical installation works
- Install electrical equipment, cabling and associated infrastructure
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
- Work alongside other trades and project personnel
- Complete works safely and to project requirements
- Follow all site safety procedures and requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To be considered, candidates will ideally have:
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Previous industrial electrical installation experience
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Civil or major infrastructure project experience highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work approximately 58 hours across a 6-day week
- Availability to commence ASAP
