Hays Manufacturing are working with this Tasmanian-based manufacturing company. With a focus on safety and a great culture, there is now the opportunity to join their team.
Your new role
Due to changes in team structure, an opportunity is available for an experienced industrial sewing machinist to join a larger manufacturing team. Working in a busy production environment, you will operate industrial sewing equipment to produce quality products, collaborate with colleagues across the manufacturing process and undertake relevant product training.
What you'll need to succeed
Motivated and reliable, you have high attention to detail and are dedicated to producing an exceptional product. You adapt well to a new environment and have the ability to follow instructions. Your prior experience includes:

• Operating an industrial sewing machine
• Working with canvas, PVC or upholstery
• Cutting and following a pattern
• A strong focus on health and safety.

It is essential that you possess strong communication skills and are able to work within a team environment.
