Fuse Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Sweeper Operator to join a well-established manufacturing site for an ongoing Temp to perm assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workplace.

The Client:
A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Carole Park.
The Role:
Operate an industrial ride-on sweeper to maintain a clean, safe, and organised manufacturing site. Duties include sweeping production, warehouse, and outdoor areas, removing waste and debris, completing daily pre-start equipment checks, and reporting any maintenance issues. You'll work independently while following all site safety procedures and supporting the overall housekeeping standards of the facility. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous industrial or manufacturing experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
Your main duties will also include:
- Operate industrial ride-on sweeping equipment throughout the site
- Maintain cleanliness of production, warehouse, and outdoor areas.
- Collect and dispose of waste and debris safely.
- Conduct routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all site safety procedures and workplace policies.
- Support the production team by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
This is a loud, dusty and at times dirty environment to work in.
The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have experience:
- Previous experience operating industrial sweepers or similar machinery.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial setting.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol medical test
