Your new role
As an Installation, Integration & Test Technician, you will play a hands-on role in the deployment and testing of communications and information systems. You'll work closely with engineers, project managers and customers to ensure systems are installed, configured, tested and operating as intended.
What you'll need to succeed
- Supporting the installation and integration of communications systems
- Executing test activities and documenting test results
- Performing fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Assisting with system configuration and maintenance activities
- Preparing technical documentation and test records
- Supporting project delivery to agreed schedules and quality standards
What you'll need to succeed
- AQF Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Communications Systems or a related discipline
- Experience working with communications, telecommunications or electronic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Understanding of configuration management processes
- Ability to work effectively within a small project team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain or hold an NV1 Security Clearance
- Highly desirable:- Defence or military communications experience
- Fibre or ACMA qualifications
- First Aid certification
- Experience supporting Defence projects
