Job Description

As an Insurance Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting the ongoing maintenance of member insurance arrangements. Working within our Operations team, you'll undertake a range of activities including data processing, insurance administration, premium payment processing, and technical analysis.
You'll contribute to the delivery of accurate and efficient insurance services while helping ensure members receive the support and outcomes they expect. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with detailed information, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by solving problems and continuously improving processes.
You'll be part of a team that values courage, empathy, and excellence, working together to deliver positive outcomes for members and stakeholders.
This role is a 12-month secondment opportunity and is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain member insurance arrangements accurately and efficiently.
- Complete insurance administration activities, including premium payment processing.
- Analyse information and investigate issues to identify appropriate solutions.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of insurance records and member data.
- Work across a range of systems to deliver operational outcomes.
- Provide a high standard of service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, or exceptions when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.
Qualifications
