Stock control is the backbone of the branch.
Seadan Bowen Hills is looking for an Inventory Controller to take ownership of purchasing, stock management and supplier relationships, along with some accounts receivable and payable. You’ll need to be comfortable working with numbers, keeping on top of the detail and juggling different priorities as they come up.
This isn’t a role where you simply raise purchase orders and wait for stock to arrive. We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the products, how they fit together and what customers actually need.
You’ll build relationships with suppliers, solve problems before they become issues and stay one step ahead. You’ll be trusted to run your area, make decisions and back your judgement.

What You’ll Do:
- Keep stock levels accurate and stay on top of aged and slow-moving stock
- Raise purchase orders and follow up with suppliers
- Track deliveries, chase ETAs and resolve issues
- Work closely with sales and warehouse teams to keep stock flowing
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable
- Support pricing, orders and invoicing as needed
- Help customers over the phone, via email and at the counter
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous inventory control, purchasing or stock management experience
