About the Role:
As an IT Support Officer, you will provide internal ICT support to the company’s business, project, engineering, finance, construction and operational functions. You will be responsible for supporting the reliable operation of business systems, hardware, software and network services, ensuring office, workshop and project-based staff have the technology and system access they need to deliver projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees across finance, contracts, project management, engineering, OHS, stores and construction operations, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and system issues.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions and access to company systems, shared resources and business applications.
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, peripherals and other IT equipment.
  • Support network connectivity and internal IT services, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and access issues affecting business operations.
  • Provide technical support for the company’s ERP and other business applications, resolving user and system issues and escalating complex matters where required.
  • Test software updates, application releases and system changes to identify errors and confirm functionality before implementation.
  • Perform routine IT system maintenance and assist in maintaining the reliability, security and integrity of company systems and data.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including asset records, system configurations, troubleshooting procedures and user guides.
  • Assist with IT system upgrades and implementations and provide technical guidance to staff on company systems and applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 or 3 years of relevant experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, networks and business applications.
  • Knowledge of common IT systems, applications and user access management.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple internal departments.
