About the opportunity
As the Technical Journey Manager (TJM), working in the Digital team, you'll work in discovery leading the technical journey mapping and journey work to look at impacts to journeys across our sending, digital platforms and channels. Working closely with Product, Freight Services and delivery teams, you'll use Design Thinking and Agile approaches to solve complex challenges, shape future experiences and drive meaningful business outcomes. This team works in discovery and hands over to platform managers for solutioning & delivery. Items are prioritised, and it’s the TJM’s job to create end-to-end journey maps, conduct gap analysis and feasibility checks. This is a fast-paced role where you will be working on multiple problems and working on new projects every month. You’ll take a technology and digital lens to look at the overall end to end journey.
Working closely with fellow Technical Journey Managers, you'll help create seamless and consistent experiences across key journeys and segments. You'll drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to innovate, simplify and increase efficiency, while ensuring all solutions align with security standards. You'll also proactively manage risks, dependencies and complex cross-platform changes to support successful delivery outcomes.
This is a fixed-term contract until June 30 2027.
You’ll also
• Identify, enhance and maintain key end to end technical journey's and touchpoints across multiple platforms, domains and segments.
• Define and maintain the technical journey roadmap to support seamless experiences across multiple digital channels.
• For prioritised initiatives, develop end to end view of impacted platforms, channels and assets and build requirements of changes required.
• Within delivery teams, lead end-to-end delivery of journey initiatives, from concept through to implementation.
• Oversee integration of changes across impacted platforms and digital channels to maintain consistency and reliability.
About you
You bring a strong understanding of digital journeys and experience working across complex organisations. You understand technology, digital assets and how they enable user experience. With expertise in Agile methodology, user-centred design and digital platforms, you're skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes.
You’ll also need
• Background working as a Journey Manager, or Journey Expert, mapping end-to-end journey lifecycle, product and experience
• Experience working in a digital teams and understanding working in an within an Agile team, from ideation through to delivery
• Demonstrable contribution to the development and implementation of strategies, plans and roadmaps
• Strong digital experience working in Apps, Websites, or other digital assets.
• Experience in analysing and communicating performance data, user testing and feedback, industry best practice and market trends
• Understanding of product design, development and implementation (B2B, B2B2C and/or B2C)
• Knowledge of digital channels, user experience design, design thinking, interaction design and performance analytics
