JUNIOR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR | DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Plinius Engineering is seeking a motivated and organised Junior Contract Administrator | Document Controller to join the team on a full-time basis in Ballarat to provide administrative support across commercial construction projects.

About the Role

Working closely with the Project Management and Estimating teams, you’ll support the successful delivery of a wide variety of projects. This role offers hands-on exposure across all stages of project management, and you will play an important role in keeping projects organised, compliant and running smoothly from an administrative perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers with the administration of multiple commercial construction projects
• Assist with procurement, cost tracking, reviewing invoices and monitoring deliveries
• Comprehensively track quality assurance inspections and materials within Tekla PowerFab
• Contribute to WHS compliance, project documentation compliance including government reporting
• Assisting with labour allocation for project budgeting and cost tracking
• Assist with short-term project planning and scheduling
• Maintaining accurate project records and document control
• Providing administrative support to the Estimating team

About You

• Previous experience in a commercial construction administration role – highly regarded
• An understanding of construction documentation and project administration
• Experience with procurement processes
• Experience with Tekla PowerFab or similar steel fabrication management software – desirable
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A Diploma in Business Administration, Construction Administration, Project Management or a related field, along with a current driver's licence – essential
