The Opportunity
We're looking for a lawyer with 2-5 years' post-admission experience to join us on a casual, as-needed basis to support periods of increased workload and project delivery requirements.
The role will primarily involve assisting our senior lawyers and clients with a range of privacy, Freedom of Information (FOI) and administrative law matters for Commonwealth Government agencies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexibility while continuing to build their experience in public law and government practice.
Please note: only Australian citizens with ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance can be considered for this role. An existing security clearance is highly desirable.
About You
We're interested in hearing from lawyers who have:
- 2 - 5 years' PAE with experience in government, in-house or private practice environments.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative law, with exposure to FOI matters highly regarded.
- An interest in privacy law and Commonwealth Government legal work.
- Strong legal research, analysis and drafting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- The ability to manage routine and process-driven work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of output.
- Strong organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
