About the Role:
As a Lead Educator, you’ll work alongside the Centre Director and Educational Leader to design and deliver high-quality, culturally responsive learning experiences for children. You will:
- Lead and Mentor: Guide and support educators, promoting professional growth and high standards of care.
- Implement Programs: Develop and evaluate specialized programs that support each child’s unique needs and interests.
- Create a Safe Space: Maintain a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment for children and team members, in line with OHS and Duty of Care standards.
- Build Connections: Cultivate warm relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring every child feels a strong sense of belonging.
- Document Learning: Keep accurate records of each child’s progress and development, aligning with centre policies and national regulations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- As a Lead Educator you will need a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or near completion.
- Educator roles are open to Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications.
- Substantial professional experience and strong administrative skills, with a knack for time management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and positively with children and adults.
- Proven leadership skills and high self-motivation.
