LEAD STRUCTURAL DETAILER

You have spent years producing structural documentation for other people to build. Now you can step inside a builder, see your work come to life on site and have a genuine say in how projects are delivered.
This residential builder delivers architecturally designed extensions and new homes where the structural details matter. You will own the Revit documentation, work alongside the director and resolve issues directly with architects, engineers, clients and site teams.
You will still be hands-on. Initially, all structural detailing will sit with you. The opportunity grows from there.
As the business expands, you will improve its systems, recruit additional detailers and move into managing the team you helped create. You are not joining to fill a drafting seat. You are joining to build a function.
This would suit a Senior Structural Drafter, Revit Technician or an Architect from a residential background who wants to move closer to construction. You will need advanced Revit skills, strong knowledge of residential structural systems, and the confidence to communicate on-site and in client meetings. Candidates with only civil or commercial construction experience will not be considered. Local experience is mandatory.
The business has a Melbourne office and a Rosebud office, as a lot of their work is on the Peninsula. You will be required to work two days per week in the Rosebus office.

Salary is up to $130k plus super.
