The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic and collaborative Learning Diversity team.

This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE), with flexible working days, offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis commencing 30 October 2026. The position is based at our Heyington Campus and will provide leave coverage for a member of staff.

The role will focus on Year 7 and 8 literacy support, delivered to small groups and in one-to-one settings. 

Experience in a secondary setting from Years 7 to 9 is preferred; however, applications from teachers currently working in a primary school setting are also welcome.

The successful candidate will attend classes, liaise with teachers and Pastoral Leaders to ensure students are supported. They will develop documentation to ensure Special Provision applications are completed in a timely manner and reflect student needs and voice.

Liaising with family, allied health and run Student Support Group meetings will be expected, together with ensuring the collection ofcreation of appropriate documentation and ensure all support sessions are documented.
