About your new employer:

About the role:

• Be involved in a broad range of legal matters across the Asia-Pacific, from Australia, Hong Kond, South Korea, China and Japan, etc.
• Sole Legal position in Sydney but working closely with APAC and reporting to NYC
• Work on matters from litigation, regulatory, subscription/licensing, employee relations ratings, contracts, and company secretarial matters.
• Liaise and interact with other teams within the company, like product sales function, HR, business development and accounts.
• Conduct regulatory and licensing reviews across multiple jurisdictions
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and subscription agreements

The ideal candidate:

• Legal Counsel or Senior Associate, with at least 6+ PQE, coming out of/or with prior top-tier experience.
• FSR and/or Banking & Finance background ideal;
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for easy communication between in-house counsels and external stakeholders.
• Ability to handle and prioritise a diverse range of matters and be flexible to client requests.
