Lighting Designer – 3 Month Contract |LED Lighting Specialist | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead practical lighting design and technical application support across a diverse product portfolio and customer projects, ensuring seamless integration and excellence.
• Develop detailed lighting layouts, photometric calculations, and technical specifications that meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to create bespoke lighting solutions rooted in understanding LED product capabilities and project requirements.
• Provide expert advice on product selection, technical compatibility, and software applications such as DIALux or Relux, supporting the delivery of high-quality lighting schemes.
• Contribute to R&D by translating technical insights into innovative lighting concepts that push the boundaries of LED technology.
• Support customer engagement through clear, technical communication that enhances confidence in our solutions and builds lasting relationships.
• Manage project timelines efficiently, balancing multiple priorities in a remote or hybrid working environment.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in commercial and industrial lighting design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating practical application skills.
• Proficiency in lighting design software including DIALux, Relux, or similar tools, with a good understanding of photometric principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of LED lighting products, technical specifications, and industry standards.
• Strong technical troubleshooting abilities with a focus on optimisation and innovation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with technical teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently, managing priorities effectively in a flexible working model.
• A recognised qualification in lighting design, architecture, engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
