About the role
This newly created Livestock Agent role will strengthen our client's presence across the Great Southern-Central Wheatbelt. You will develop sheep-focused livestock relationships, manage sales channels and grow new business from an established wool client base.
Duties
- Develop producer relationships across the region
- Market sheep through private treaty, saleyards and AuctionsPlus
- Build relationships with processors, buyers and market contacts
- Work with livestock agents, wool representatives and administration
- Identify new business through the existing wool client network
Skills & experience
- Livestock agency or livestock industry experience
- Strong sheep market knowledge and commercial judgement
- Confident communication, negotiation and follow-up skills
- Current C Class Driver's Licence and willingness to travel
- Sound computer literacy and willingness to use modern systems
