Maintenance Assistant (Cleaner) - Part Time
- Provides janitorial services and maintenance of Costco Regional Head Office.
- Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler, and performs routine maintenance.
- Delivers prompt and courteous member service.
Position Summary
Provides janitorial services and general maintenance of office. Restocks supplies; Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler. Periodically paints and performs routine maintenance throughout the office. Purchases supplies needed for projects. Follows proper safety and security procedures and standards. Provides prompt and courteous member service Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Clean office floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Follow departmental standards for cleanliness and performance of duties
- Restocks supplies
- Empty trash from designated areas throughout the office
- Pull loose cardboard from floor
- Operate garbage compactor and cardboard baler
- Check daily schedule for assigned routine tasks and maintenance repair jobs
- Paint, replace bulbs, maintain equipment and perform routine repairs throughout the office
- Assist with installing and repairing building displays and fixtures
- Purchase supplies and parts needed for projects
- Follow proper maintenance and general safety and security procedures
- Respond quickly to and cleans up spills
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
- Hand tools, pressure washer, floor scrubber, power tools, trash compactor, cardboard baler and mop wringer.
