Our client, a leading name in the FMCG industry, is seeking trade-qualified, proactive Maintenance Electricians and Mechanical Fitters to join their fast-paced manufacturing facility. You'll keep production lines running at peak performance, minimise downtime, and carry out both preventative and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and rapid root-cause fault-finding on automated production and packaging equipment
- Respond promptly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Electricians: Diagnose PLC faults, maintain switchboards, and calibrate sensors
- Fitters: Overhaul gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and conveyors
- Ensure all work complies with WHS and food safety/manufacturing standards
What You Bring
- Electricians: Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence; PLC programming/troubleshooting highly regarded
- Fitters: Trade Certificate (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent); heavy industrial or FMCG maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a wider production team
