We are an established, yet constantly growing and successful organisation and are looking to bring onboard a Management Accountant to join our collaborative finance team of 6.

Reporting directly to a supportive Group CFO, you will become part of a close-knit finance team of six, playing a key role in the delivery month end, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Duties:

  • Month-End Reporting & Analysis: Lead month-end close activities, including preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Management Accounting: Prepare monthly management accounts, analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, and provide insights to support commercial decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections, identifying risks and opportunities across the business.
  • Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls, while supporting audit requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational and corporate stakeholders to provide financial guidance, investigate variances, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and system efficiencies to drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of month-end accounting processes and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow

Highly Regarded:

  • Degree, CA or CPA qualified, part-qualified, or currently studying
  • Experience within a fast-paced commercial environment
