We are currently partnering with a successful and growing organisation to recruit a Management Accountant into a broad and commercially focused role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working beyond the numbers and wants to play a genuine role in supporting operational decision-making, improving processes and driving business performance.
Reporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of key financial reporting and compliance activities while partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Managing the month-end and year-end close processes
- Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
- Preparing ad hoc financial reports, analysis and forecasts
- Coordinating forecasting and assisting with the annual budgeting process
- Developing financial models to support commercial decision-making
- Managing BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and other statutory submissions
- Managing inventory accounting and providing financial insight into operational performance
- Business partnering with operational departments
- Identifying and leading process, system and reporting improvements
Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified with proven experience completing month end tasks and creating new processes and reports to illustrate business insights. A confident communication style with strong ERP and BI reporting skills will help you to succeed in this opportunity
