With a strong reputation for quality construction and project delivery, they are experiencing significant growth and are looking to strengthen their glazing division with an experienced industry professional.This is a rare opportunity to join a business that is flexible in its approach. Depending on your skills and experience, the role can be tailored to suit candidates from a glazing management, estimating, project management or draughting background. For exceptional candidates, responsibilities may be combined, while multiple positions may also be considered.
Your new role
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial glazing projects from tender stage through to completion.Depending on your background, your responsibilities may include:
- Tender identification, review and submission
- Glazing estimating and cost planning
- Quantity take-offs and material calculations
- Client and stakeholder management
- Business development and relationship building
- Shop drawing and CAD development
- Project planning and scheduling
- Procurement and supplier coordination
- Managing project budgets and profitability
- Coordinating fabrication and installation activities
- Managing variations and project documentation
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
What you'll need to succeed
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial glazing
- Aluminium windows and doors
- Faade systems
- Glazing estimating
- Project management
- CAD draughting and shop drawings
- Construction management
- Commercial construction projects
You will also possess:
- Strong understanding of glazing systems and construction processes
- Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
