Urbane Recruitment is partnering with a growing mid-market advisory platform to appoint a Manager within its Sydney-based M&A team.

This is an opportunity to join a strategy-led advisory business that combines transaction execution with broader growth, capital and transformation advisory. The firm operates across buy-side, sell-side and capital raising mandates, advising founders, boards and private equity investors on pivotal transactions.

The platform is well established, commercially ambitious and continuing to scale its M&A capability nationally.

The Opportunity

As Manager, you will play a central role in leading transaction execution while working closely with Directors and Partners across live mandates. You will have direct exposure to clients and be responsible for driving key workstreams from initiation through to completion.

This role offers the chance to step beyond pure execution and contribute to shaping the direction of a growing M&A practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial modelling and valuation analysis across buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate external advisors
• Prepare and oversee Information Memoranda, management presentations and investor materials
• Serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients during transaction processes
• Support negotiation strategy and transaction structuring
• Mentor junior team members and oversee quality control
• Contribute to sector research and business development initiatives

Candidate Profile

• 5–8 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advisory or transaction services
• Demonstrated experience executing mid-market M&A transactions
• Strong technical modelling capability and commercial judgement
• Confidence engaging directly with CFOs, founders and investors
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-performance environment
