Description
As the Manager Process Optimisation and Intelligent Automation, you’ll lead RACQ’s enterprise strategy and capability across process improvement, intelligent automation and Microsoft Copilot. You’ll translate business priorities into measurable improvements while leading a multidisciplinary team and supporting the responsible adoption of emerging technology.
About the role
You’ll partner with leaders across RACQ to identify high-value opportunities, simplify processes and improve employee and member experiences. You’ll oversee automation and Copilot platforms, ensuring solutions are reliable, well governed and deliver sustainable value.
- Lead the strategy and roadmap for process optimisation, automation and Copilot.
- Develop a multidisciplinary team through coaching, clear priorities and capability building.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities, develop investment cases and manage value, feasibility, cost and risk.
- Oversee automation, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio platforms, including service health, security controls, support and solution lifecycle.
- Establish Centres of Excellence, standards and reusable practices.
- Lead adoption and benefits realisation, while ensuring responsible AI, privacy, security and compliance requirements are met.
About you
You’re a people-focused technology leader who can turn complex business challenges into practical, measurable improvements. You balance innovation with risk, reliability and sustainable delivery while building trusted relationships across business and Technology teams.
- Demonstrated leadership across process improvement and intelligent automation.
- Strong knowledge of process discovery, redesign and benefits realisation.
- Experience managing enterprise automation or low-code platforms, including operational health, security controls and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
- Experience establishing standards, Centres of Excellence and reusable solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen, people leadership and stakeholder influence, including investment cases, licensing, vendors and benefits measurement.
