Lead the delivery of technology solutions supporting Australia's national infrastructure program.

Are you an experienced Technical Delivery Lead with a strong background in enterprise technology, systems integration and complex ICT delivery?

We are seeking an accomplished technical delivery professional to join the Technology Delivery Branch within our Federal government client.

This is an opportunity to lead the end-to-end delivery of technical enhancements, integrations and changes across nationally significant digital health infrastructure. Working closely with architecture, security, operations, product teams and external delivery partners, you will help ensure technology solutions align with business priorities, technical strategy and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery across enterprise applications, cloud platforms and national infrastructure environments.
• Oversee solution design, development, testing, integration, implementation and operational transition.
• Coordinate delivery across internal teams, external vendors and delivery partners.
• Manage technical risks, issues, dependencies and competing delivery priorities across multiple initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership across systems integration, solution delivery and implementation activities.
• Drive alignment between business objectives, solution architecture, security requirements and delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with architecture, cyber security, operations, product and clinical stakeholders.
• Support delivery governance, technical assurance and stakeholder engagement across complex initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices, delivery maturity and systems integration capability.
• Partner with Operations and SIAM teams to ensure operational readiness, effective service transition and ongoing supportability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, integration specifications and implementation plans.

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Extensive ICT experience, with a minimum of 15 years delivering technology solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical delivery across design, development, testing, integration and operational transition.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, systems integration and large database environments.
• Experience managing technical risks, issues, dependencies and delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience working within multi-vendor delivery models and complex operational environments.
• Knowledge of frameworks and methodologies such as SDLC, ITSM, SIAM, COBIT, PRINCE2 or similar.
• Strong capability in producing and reviewing technical documentation, including solution designs, integration specifications and operational procedures.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across matrix environments without direct authority.
• A track record of improving delivery practices, technical standards and organisational capability.

Qualifications and Desirable Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in API development and integration is advantageous.
• Previous technical delivery experience within the health sector is highly desirable.
• Experience working in healthcare technology environments will be well regarded.

Mandatory Requirements
Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must provide evidence of Australian Citizenship, which must be sighted before submission.

Candidates must also be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Baseline security clearance, with the ability to obtain a higher clearance if required.
