Role Overview
The Marketing Specialist will support Mr Teddy Bear’s continued growth and planned business expansion. The role will focus on market research, marketing strategy, promotional campaigns, digital marketing and customer engagement, while supporting the promotion of the company’s existing and new services.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse customer booking patterns, purchasing behaviour and service demand across dog grooming, daycare, boarding and pet retail services to identify customer preferences and market trends.
Develop marketing and promotional plans for the company’s core grooming, daycare and boarding services to increase service awareness and attract new local customers.
Manage website content, social media and online promotional activities to promote pet care services, in-store activities and retail products, and support customer enquiries and booking conversions.
Conduct local area marketing across Bowen Hills and surrounding suburbs, analysing customer demand in different areas and developing appropriate promotional approaches.
Plan seasonal promotions, customer retention initiatives, service packages and cross-promotional activities to encourage repeat bookings and increased use of multiple services.
Review customer feedback and booking trends across grooming, daycare and boarding services, and recommend improvements to customer experience and promotional activities.
Identify and develop promotional opportunities with pet-related businesses, veterinary practices and local community organisations to strengthen brand awareness and expand customer reach.
Monitor website traffic, customer enquiries, booking volumes, campaign performance and sales results, and adjust marketing activities based on performance data.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
At least 1 year of relevant marketing experience or equivalent.
Familiarity with the pet care industry including dog grooming, daycare, boarding and pet retail services.
A caring attitude and interest in animals will be highly regarded.
Good understanding of customer engagement, retention and booking conversion.
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
