Mechanical Fitter

Join a growing Perth-based company specialising in commercial and strata gate and fencing installations. This part-time role is ideal for a mechanically minded individual with hands-on experience and a desire to grow their skills. Perfect for someone who thinks outside the box, is committed to learning, and wants to progress to full-time hours over time.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with commercial and strata gate/fencing installations across Perth
• Performing mobile welding, on-site repairs, and general mechanical fitting
• Transporting equipment using a company truck (HR licence required or willing to obtain)
• Working alongside a design engineer to learn technical aspects of installs
• Supporting occasional FIFO trips for quick installation jobs up north
• Opportunity to assist with drafting and technical drawings

What you’ll need:

• Mechanically minded with relevant hands-on experience
• Ability to think outside the box and solve problems on the fly
• Strong work ethic and commitment to learning new skills
• HR licence and relevant tickets (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to work 3 days a week initially, with potential to increase
