Mentor – Parent Pathways  

Work in our Wyong location with occasional travel to Hornsby using work vehicle

As a Mentor working in our Parent Pathways Program, you will be doing so much more than finding jobs, you'll be changing lives.   

We are passionate about empowering and motivating through early intervention assistance and activity participation to help parents achieve their goals for employment or education. 

The key to success is by working closely to build strong relationships and gain trust! You will:

  • Develop Goal Plans with parents to identify short and long-term education and employment goals

  • Understand the Labour market and provide suitable career advice on local employment and education opportunities 

  • Use your influencing skills to connect with employers and RTO's and build strong relationships to help parents secure a suitable activity or employment.

About you

  • Solutions focussed / positive mindset

  • Self-Confident and motivated

  • Able to build relationships with a range of local community organisations and employers

  • Resilient, empathetic & able to build trust and rapport

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Employment Services or similar or ability to complete

  • Current driver licence

  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children/Vulnerable People Card/Blue Card

  • Be able to obtain a registered myGOVID name prior to commencing employment
