Position Summary:
Westlink Fencing & Gates is looking for a qualified and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The position is permanent and full-time. The ideal candidate should have experience in Metal Fabricating with great understanding of different types of design, construction, and materials, as well as safety in a workplace environment.
Main tasks and duties are as follows but not limited to,
●Reviewing plans to identify project needs and fabrication steps
●Determine metal specifications, such as materials and sizes
●Preparing, measuring, cutting, and shaping metals as per plans/design
●Construct metal sections, assembling, and ensuring all parts are properly aligned
●Installation and finishing of metal fence/gates
●Conduct final check and quality control of finished works
●Safe use of hand and power tools
●Adhere to workplace health and safety standards
Requirements:
●Trade qualification or relevant experience
●Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
●Completes works to a high standard
●Able to use hand and power tools
●Share our business values to maintain a 'Good Name'
●Have attention to detail
