Contract Opportunity | Hybrid Working | ACT, NSW, VIC or QLD

We are seeking experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Software Engineers to join a major Federal Government digital transformation program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and support of enterprise scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions that support critical government services.

Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable and high performing business applications while supporting ongoing enhancements and operational activities.

About the Role

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring and supporting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions aligned with business, architecture and security requirements.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, business analysts and technical teams to deliver quality solutions that support complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements and user stories, providing technical guidance and recommendations
  • Design, develop, configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
  • Develop applications using Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Automate
  • Enhance and maintain existing CRM applications, including defect resolution and performance optimisation
  • Build new CRM functionality aligned to enterprise architecture and security standards
  • Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, Azure services and approved middleware
  • Participate in solution design sessions and technical workshops
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts
  • Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to development standards
  • Support releases and deployments across development, testing and production environments
  • Work within CI/CD and DevOps frameworks
  • Investigate incidents, provide application support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Skills & Experience

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Software Engineer within a large enterprise or government environment
  • Strong hands on experience with:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM)
    • Microsoft Power Platform
    • Power Apps
    • Power Automate
    • Power BI
    • .NET technologies
  • Strong understanding of:
    • APIs and integration patterns
    • Azure services
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • DevOps practices
  • Experience implementing security protocols, authentication and identity management solutions
  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and Microsoft certifications
  • Experience delivering large scale transformation programs
  • Understanding of Essential Eight and enterprise security frameworks

Security Requirement

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
