About the role
Operate a range of mobile plant across general civil works, road maintenance, stockpile rehandling and under-belt cleaning at a major Port Hedland site.
Duties & responsibilities
- Complete general civil works across site.
- Clean under belts and around operating areas.
- Operate a range of mobile plant to support site activities.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and identify/report equipment defects.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and other operators.
- Operate equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
Skills & experience
- Full Australian work rights
- Current tickets for Excavator, Skid Steer, Grader, Dozer and/or Water Cart
- Previous heavy mobile mining equipment experience highly regarded.
- Able to meet pre-employment medical requirements, drug & alcohol screening and relevant site inductions.
- Must be residentially based in Port Hedland – FIFO not available
