About the role:
Our established and growing team is looking for a qualified and experienced full-time Motor Mechanic with 1+ years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of various motor vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
The position will offer a competitive base salary of AUD 80,000 plus superannuation.
The successful candidates should:
Key Responsibilities
·Detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
·Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components and check parts.
·Service vehicles according to manufacturer’s guidelines and manuals.
·Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.
·Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
·Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune- ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
·Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.
·Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
·Follow occupational health and safety procedures.
Appropriate candidates must have the following skills, education, and experience:
·Minimum Trade-level Qualification in Automotive Technology is required
·Minimum of 1+ year experience
