MR Driver / Jockey / Warehouse Store Person
Nunawading, Melbourne VIC
Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
$36 per hour
Monday to Friday | 6:30am to 3:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Jockey / Warehouse Store Person to join our client based in Nunawading. Our client supply a wide selection of quality building products, including plaster and partiwall systems and professional advice.
This is a varied position combining MR driving, customer deliveries, warehouse operations, and stock management. You'll play an important role in ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time while supporting the day-to-day functions of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect goods in a safe and timely manner
- Load and unload customer and stock orders
- Maintain accurate delivery and service records
- Perform general warehouse and store person duties
- Assist with stock control and inventory accuracy
- Adhere to OH&S policies and workplace safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve service delivery
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current MR License (essential)
- Previous driving and delivery experience
- Warehouse or store person experience
- Building, construction or trade industry experience highly regarded
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong team focus
