3-Month Contract (Possibility of extension)
Sydney based opportunity - Hybrid 3x days in office 2 days WFH
We're seeking an experienced Python, SQL & Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a 3-month contract supporting a critical SharePoint migration project. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative technical team, helping deliver a secure, reliable and high-performing infrastructure environment.
You'll play a key role in network engineering, infrastructure support and automation, using Python and SQL to improve operational efficiency while ensuring the successful delivery of the migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a SharePoint migration project.
- Configure, manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Develop Python scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Design, optimise and maintain SQL databases and queries.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
About You
You'll have experience with:
- Python development and automation.
- Strong SQL skills, including database design and query optimisation.
- Network engineering and infrastructure administration.
- Cisco networking technologies, including FMC, CSM or similar.
- REST APIs, JSON and XML.
- Load balancing technologies
- Git or other version control tools.
- Working independently in fast-paced project environments.
