About the Role We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Brisbane North / Moreton Bay team, with opportunities across Chermside, Aspley, Carseldine, Albany Creek, Strathpine, Warner, Petrie, Kallangur, Mango Hill, North Lakes and surrounding suburbs.

While our broader team covers Brisbane’s northern corridor, you won’t be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we’ll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel manageable and giving you genuine flexibility over your week.

You’ll work across home, school, community and telehealth settings, supporting NDIS participants to build independence and achieve meaningful everyday goals.

Shape Your OT Caseload Your caseload can be shaped around your experience, clinical interests and local service needs, with opportunities across functional assessments, capacity building, Assistive Technology, home modifications, sensory and emotional regulation and ongoing therapy.

We welcome early career and experienced OTs, with supervision and support tailored to your experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver functional, person-centred Occupational Therapy
  • Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
  • Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth
  • Collaborate with families, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues
  • Manage your caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy
  • Participate in supervision, peer learning and professional development

What We Offer

  • Localised caseloads from Chermside through to North Lakes
  • Flexible community and hybrid working
  • Structured clinical supervision and support
  • OT peer connection and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development
  • Achievable KPIs supporting sustainable workloads
  • Opportunities to develop your clinical interests and progress your career
  • The support of a local team plus Avina’s wider national clinical network

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration or eligibility
  • A collaborative and person-centred approach
  • NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for community work

If you’re looking for an OT role where you can work closer to home, have genuine flexibility and still have a wider clinical network behind you, we’d love to hear from you.
