About Us
Go Electrical Alexandria is part of MMEM, one of Australia's largest electrical wholesale groups.
We're a busy local branch supplying electrical contractors across Sydney, backed by a national network with plenty of opportunities to build a long-term career.
Our team comes from all sorts of backgrounds, including hospitality. We're more interested in your attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn than what's on your resume.
About the Role
Looking for a career change or an opportunity to get your foot in the door of a growing business?
We're looking for someone keen to learn the electrical wholesale industry from the ground up, with the opportunity to work towards a career in sales and potentially management.
You'll start by spending your first 6–12 months in the warehouse and out on the road making local deliveries. It's a great way to learn our products, get to know our customers and understand how the branch operates.
From there, we'll look to develop your skills across other areas of the business, including counter sales, customer service and eventually managing customer accounts.
There's no set career path. We'll work with you to develop your strengths and explore where you want to take your career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Making local deliveries in the company vehicle
- Receiving stock and keeping the warehouse organised
- Getting to know our products and building relationships with customers
- Learning how the branch operates, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you progress
About You
You don't need electrical knowledge or previous warehouse experience. We're looking for someone who's keen to work, learn and build a career.
You'll need to bring:
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
- Confidence talking to people
- A current driver's licence
- Reliability and the ability to work as part of a team
- A willingness to start in a hands-on role and work your way up
- Full Australian working rights
