What does the job look like?

Build your career with one of Australia's largest Intermodal networks whilst being at the heart of our national linehaul operations. You'll collaborate closely with Operations leaders, Allocators, Drivers & Customers to coordinate freight movements, respond to operational challenges and deliver exceptional service outcomes.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Laverton North site within our afternoon shift operation on a working schedule of Monday - Friday from 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Key areas:

• Coordinate live transport movements across company and subcontractor fleets to maintain service performance and network visibility
• Deliver operational support to Allocators through load management, bookings, system updates and transport planning adjustments
• Maintain accurate transport data within Blue Yonder to support real-time decision making and operational success
• Manage transport disruptions, schedule changes and breakdown contingencies to minimise service impacts
• Provide timely updates to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Support safety initiatives, operational reviews and continuous improvement activities across the transport operation

Are you the one?

You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment and enjoys being at the centre of daily operations. Whether you've worked in transport coordination, allocation, fleet operations or logistics customer service, you're technology-savvy, solutions-focused and eager to develop your career within a large-scale national transport network. You can demonstrate:

• 2+ years of experience in transport operations within the Transport/Logistics industry 
• Exposure to linehaul operations, network transport movements or interstate freight operations will be highly regarded
• Prior experience working with customers, drivers, subcontractors and operational stakeholders to deliver outcomes
• Strong systems capability and experience using transport management systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a time-critical operational environment
• Proven problem-solving capability and confidence responding to operational disruptions and service issues
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence
