Outdoor Activity Instructor - Sport and Recreation Centre
- Lead outdoor activities such as canoeing and rock climbing.
- Supervise participants and ensure safety during activities.
- Work as part of a team to deliver engaging programs.
Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct based in Currimundi delivers centre based school camps, sports camps, and group programs focused on outdoor activities and team development. We're looking for reliable, capable instructors to join our team.
The Role
You will:
Lead activities including canoeing, rock climbing, ropes courses, and team challenges
Supervise participants and follow workplace operational procedures
Set up, check, and pack down equipment
Work as part of a team to deliver well-run activity programs
Hours are available up to 38 per week.
What We're Looking For
Experience in outdoor recreation, education or working with school aged youth
Confident leading groups and speaking in front of people
Practical, hands-on, and safety-focused
Reliable and able to commit to consistent hours
Physically capable of working outdoors in varied conditions
Qualifications highly regarded:
Cert III or IV in Outdoor Recreation / Leadership
First Aid & CPR
Working with Children Blue Card
