Position Description
HBK is a full-service creative and technical agency with a 26-year track record, working across brand, digital, and technical delivery for clients including STIHL, Dulux, and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. We're looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our delivery team and take ownership of paid campaigns across a range of well- known brands.
You'll be a technical operator with strong communication skills, comfortable managing both spreadsheets and proprietary agency software. You'll want to own your campaigns end to end, reporting on performance against KPIs to the delivery team and directly to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end campaign setup, launch, and optimisation across Google Ads, Display, Reddit, Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, and remarketing
- Run tests, gather and analyse data, and identify trends that drive ROI across paid search campaigns
- Track, report on, and analyse campaign and analytics performance
- Manage campaign budgets, estimate monthly spend, and reconcile discrepancies
- Optimise ad copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Carry out ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimisation
- Research and implement SEO recommendations where relevant to paid performance
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share across the client portfolio
- Manage bidding adjustments, keyword targeting, and negative keyword lists
- Keep campaign structure under constant review as accounts scale
- Provide insights, recommendations, and strategic advice to clients and the wider team
- Deliver end-of-month reporting across paid search, social, and display
- Requirements
- 4+ years' relevant experience in digital marketing or account management
- Proven experience managing SEM campaigns across multiple platforms, with a track record of results
- Genuinely enjoys solving problems with clients, not just for them
- Strong attention to detail, able to catch issues in a campaign build before launch, from typos through to landing page problems
- Highly process-driven, able to follow a brief to exact specification and track progress through project management software
- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- Up to date with current trends and best practice in search engine marketing
- Experience implementing and managing search, remarketing, and display campaigns
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis within a given industry
- Comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without close supervision, while also working well as part of a team
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills
