Payroll Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team at Perth Airport, Western Australia. This role suits someone with strong payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail and experience with employment legislation and industrial agreements.

This is a 6-month contract offering up to $110,000 per annum plus superannuation, pro rata for the contract period. Exceptional candidates may be considered for a permanent position.

What you’ll be doing:

• Processing payroll, timesheets and leave applications
• Calculating wages, allowances and employee entitlements
• Investigating payroll discrepancies and preparing reports
• Maintaining accurate employee records
• Managing payroll compliance and statutory payments
• Responding to employee payroll enquiries

What you’ll need:

• Proven payroll experience
• Essential hands-on Chris21 / iChris experience
• ADP experience is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
