    About the Role
    An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to join a supportive and collaborative team environment in WA. This role will involve providing high-quality therapy services to children with developmental concerns, delays, and disorders. You will be working within a multi- and transdisciplinary team, engaging with clients and their families, and contributing to ongoing service development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and implement occupational therapy intervention strategies using a range of service delivery models.

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and adapt strategies as needed.

    • Communicate effectively with clients and families to support therapy goals.

    • Participate as an active team member in multi-/transdisciplinary activities.

    • Select, maintain, and evaluate therapy tools, resources, and programs.

    • Contribute to community education and promotion of occupational therapy services.

    • Attend team meetings and participate in supervision, mentoring, and performance management.

    • Maintain accurate progress notes, client records, and reports.

    • Engage in professional development to maintain and upgrade skills.

    • Adhere to workplace safety, Equal Opportunity principles, and organisational policies.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, with registration (or eligibility) with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

    • Knowledge of assessments and interventions for children with developmental concerns, delays, and disorders.

    • Strong time and caseload management skills.

    • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

    • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Previous experience in developmental paediatrics.

    • Current driver’s licence.
