About the role
As a Pharmacist at Cabrini, you will gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside experienced professionals. You will have the opportunity to r, while playing an important role in medication management, safety and patient care.

Cabrini Health is experiencing significant growth through new theatres, technological advancements and innovative research, providing opportunities for career development. Our Pharmacy Departments in Malvern and Brighton deliver patient-centred services including clinical pharmacy, dispensing, procurement, compounding and clinical trial management, with a strong focus on the safe, appropriate, effective and cost-effective use of medicines. Flexibility will be required to work over 5 days – Monday to Friday with some on-call, weekend and evening work on a rostered basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a clinical pharmacy service to patients and clinicians, ensuring prescribing and dispensing compliance with legislative and professional requirements
  • Providing dispensing and medication counselling service to patients
  • Providing pharmaceutical information to health professionals
  • Ensuring medications are stored safely and appropriately
  • Communicating and working cooperatively within the department and wider organisation

What you will bring to the role
Along with enthusiasm to learn, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and have the following:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy (desirable)
  • Previous experience in Oncology/interest in Oncology (desirable)
  • Well-developed computer skills
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and work well within a team
  • Sound prioritising and organisational skills with the ability to adapt to conflicting demands
