Your new role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a critical role in the review and assessment of structural designs on significant construction projects.You will work closely with developers, builders, design consultants, surveyors, and project stakeholders to provide technical advice, engineering reviews, and practical solutions that contribute to the safe delivery of major developments. (up to $1.5bn).
What you'll need to succeed
Degree-qualified Structural Engineer.Extensive consulting engineering experience within the Australian building or infrastructure sector.Previous experience operating at Senior, Principal, Associate, or Technical Director level.Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements, structural design, and engineering compliance.Ability to review and challenge complex engineering designs and provide practical recommendations.Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports and assessments.Strong verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.Comfortable building relationships, networking within the industry, and representing the business externally.Commercial awareness and the ability to understand the broader impact engineering decisions can have on project outcomes.Appreciation of the critical nature of independent engineering review and the significant influence it has on construction safety, compliance, programme, and risk management.What you'll get in return
