Product Manager
- Become the ANZ technical authority for an innovative connected hardware and software platform.
- Provide technical leadership across solution design, implementation and complex customer requirements.
- Lead and mentor a small technical support team while strengthening customer and partner experience.
This is not a conventional software or backlog-focused Product Manager role. The successful person will become the ANZ technical authority for an innovative connected hardware and software platform, working across customers, sales, operations, technical support, integration partners and global product teams.
Joining at an important stage in the platform’s development, you will help drive the rollout and adoption of its next generation while strengthening the overall customer and partner experience.
The role
- Becoming the ANZ subject-matter expert for the product and its supporting technology
- Providing technical leadership across solution design, implementation and complex customer requirements
- Acting as the link between the ANZ business and global product and development teams
- Translating customer and market feedback into clear product recommendations
- Supporting the successful rollout and adoption of the next-generation platform
- Strengthening the installer and integration-partner network
- Improving technical support, knowledge sharing, self-service and escalation processes
- Leading and mentoring an experienced two-person technical support team
The role is focused on product, technical, customer and partner leadership, as well as team leadership of a small team of 2.
About you
You may already be a Product Manager; however, we are also interested in candidates from technical solutions, engineering, integration, service or product-specialist backgrounds seeking a step up into a Product Manager role.
Relevant experience may include:
- Electronic security, access control
- Connected devices, smart technology or IoT
- Building automation or smart-building technology
- Hardware and software integration
- Technical solutions or systems integration
- Technical service, support or operations leadership
You will bring strong technical credibility, commercial awareness and the ability to explain complex solutions clearly. Just as importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, builds trust quickly and remains calm when resolving challenging customer or technical issues.
This position offers genuine ownership, autonomy and visibility across the ANZ business. You will influence global product discussions, help shape local product capability and build a stronger customer and partner ecosystem.
The role is Brisbane-based and office-led, with interstate, New Zealand and occasional international travel.
